2025 PPL Scholar
Jayden Plumbridge
Jayden, from Leeds, was awarded a full Private Pilot Licence (PPL) scholarship in July 2025 by The Harvey Dunmore Scholarship Charity Foundation. He is currently completing his training at Sherburn Aeroclub.

2024 PPL Scholar
Christopher Edmunds
Christopher, from York, was awarded a full Private Pilot Licence (PPL) scholarship in June 2024 by The Honourable Company of Air Pilots, on behalf of the Dunmore Scholarship. He completed his training at Full Sutton Airfield in East Yorkshire and successfully passed his skills test in September 2024.
Since earning his licence, Christopher has made the most of every opportunity to fly, taking family and friends on flights over the Yorkshire countryside. He is currently studying for his Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) exams, with the goal of becoming a commercial pilot within the next two years.
2024 Gliding Scholars
Archie and Thomas were awarded weeklong courses of sailplane flying at the local gliding clubs by The Honourable Company of Air Pilots, on behalf of the Dunmore Scholarship.

Archie completed his course at the London Gliding Club and it solidified his love for flying. Thomas completed his course in the Peak District.
